I am not trying to revive any drama here at all, but I have a genuine question about the board's Facebook group that was raised by earlier threads. (This may be stupid but I haven't really been on the group much so I don't know the answer).
Once you join the group, can other group members view your profile/photos/wall etc. automatically, as if they are your friends? Or can they only view what's listed as "public" in your security settings?
I'm pretty public on my blog and Twitter accounts, but I keep my Facebook much more private, so I'm wondering now if I've inadvertently opened up my Facebook to the world.
TIA if you know the answer! ![]()

Re: Question about Dec. Moms Facebook
Hmm, no idea but I just did a little test and clicked on one of the girls that I know posts here and I was only able to see certain info - not her wall or photos. You still had to add her as a friend to see more info. However, I can still see where she lives, high school and hometown. A little scary, no? I don't expect to have a stalker anytime soon but I might just be dropping this fb group!
This is why I haven't joined. No offense to all the bump ladies, but I don't want everyone knowing my full name, where I live, etc.
Thanks, ladies! I know I have my info pretty tightly edited for non-"friends," so I think I'm in good shape. Groups are just so new to me that I wasn't sure if the normal setting applied.
I appreciate the info.
