'Investigating' their own hands?

Sometimes DS will hold his hand out in front of him and flip it back and forth, staring at it w/such awe. My DH saw this and was all laughing 'he looks like an android that just discovered his hands!!!'.... Does your DC do this?

    My DS does this all the time. We're teaching him to wave so he opens and closes his hand kind of waving to himself and is so fascinated

    DD just started doing that as well, super cute!  Then she will "slam" it into her face. She just started rubbing her eyes/nose when she is sleepy and will play with my or her hair when I am feeding her.

    DD does and I love it!  She'll be rolling around, playing with a toy and drop it.  Then she'll see her hands and be like "Wow!  These things are cool!"  Such a silly baby Smile
