Okay, I'm about to blow over here, and could really use some encouragement.
My little man is a little over 7 months old and he use to sleep through the night like a champ. This was when he was about 3-5 months old. Now, for the past couple of months, he wakes up almost every few hours. It's exhausting. We end up thinking something is wrong because all he does is scream and it's about impossible to lay him down, so we take him to the doctor to make sure he doesnt have an ear infection or anything and they say he is totally fine. I am at my wits end and dont know what to do anymore. We have tried letting him cry it out but how long do you wait? Also, don't know if this makes a difference , but last month we moved from Charlotte, NC to Denver, CO. It has only gotten worse since the move...
Any advice would be soooo appreciated. Can't do this routine much longer.

Re: Is your little one STTN?!! ERRR!
Never has, except for a night or two but those were flukes. I thought it was due to BFing and him digesting the milk so quick but now he takes a bottle of formula before bed and he is still up every 3 hours... He had been sleeping for 5 hours in his crib but he got sick and was sleeping with me the past week and a half so now that we are trying to put him back in his crib he wont have it and it up every 2-3 hours again...
Last night we let him CIO for half an hour and he still woke up 2 hours later!
Maybe your LO is teething? Mine seems to be extra cranky and a crybaby when he is teething. He will even cry in our arms until he falls asleep
Welcome to Colorado
(I use to live in NC for awhile as well)
DS STTN until about the 4month wakeful, he is just now getting back into normal, only waking up once during the night instead of every 2 hours. I feel your pain!
Gripe water is the one thing that can calm DS down when he is screaming in the middle of the night. Gripe water, singing, and rocking until he's asleep. We tried letting him CIO, and it just got him more upset until he would hold his breath, so I think that DS wakes up in pain or a dream.
It could be gas, teething, hungry. Could just be a phase, I know it's hard but hang in there! She obviously needs something to keep waking up like that. Could it be the high altitude??Not sure how that would effect LO's!
My LO started doing that again just recently (at 5 months) I switched him to a 4 hr schedule and he is STTN again. I love the baby whisper book!
good luck I know it is so tough.
There are so many developmental milestones and growth spurts around now for your LO. Any or all of them could interrupt sleep.
I like this article...it is from a BFing perspective, but it has good points for FF babies too. https://www.naturalchild.org/guest/kelly_bonyata.html
My DS had never slept completely through the night, but I chalk it up to him being on the small side (and needing the extra calories of nighttime feedings!) and to learning so much right now. Like when he was learning to sit up - his sleep was horrible! But there was so much new stuff for his little brain to process, that it is like working overtime.
Hang in there. Sleep deprivation is torture.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
