Breastfeeding, got back to running at 6 weeks pp (had a c-section) - run 3-4 days/week, and due to losing some muscle mass during pregnancy I am acctually lower weight than I was before I started. Also, eating healthy- lots of fruit/veggies/lean protein, eat every 2-3 hours, keep my calories to under 1800. Really just the basics- same way one would lose weight if they didnt just have a baby- eat right, exercise, and drink plenty of water.
dont hate me, but this is what worked for me. I have always been a big eater. When I was pregnant I gained 45pounds and she was only 5lbs at birth lol! I was left with 35pounds of extra weight to get rid of. I will take DD for walks occasionally but the thing that worked the best for me was actually EATING! i got this book, called "The Belly Fat Cure" a friend of mine used it and lost 40 pounds in 3 months (with exercise) howveer, i have been doing it for 3 months, absolutely NO exercise and i dont follow it to an exact T and I have lost 15pounds! The book even says that if you follow it you will lose 4-9pounds a week!! its basically eating like 6 meals but 6healthy meals!

I ran pre-pregnancy but stopped during. I'm running again and doing 4.25 miles 5-6 days a week. I'm eating smaller, healthier meals too. I hear you though, I still have about 15 pounds still hanging around!
I lied to everyone and said I gained 35 lbs - but, I really gained closer to 45...I've lost almost all of it and am 10 lbs away from my pre-wedding weight. I will say - I'm now staying at home - so, I know that has A LOT to do with my success...
Here's what I do...1) breastfeed (I can't remember if you do or not)
2) I have a lot of stairs in my home - I use the upstairs changing area most of the time even though I have one downstairs to maximize the number I have to do a day
3) we found money every month to get me a gym membership that has AWESOME child care while I workout
4) I've also started going on longer walks and purposefully taking the hilly routes
5) When I am watching tv, I try to do small things during the commercial breaks (but, now I'm bumping and watching tv, so that's not helping!)
6) I watch what I eat - BUT, I allow myself to eat some french fries and ice cream when I want it - I just try to have a smaller portion...
7) I keep healthy snacks within reach and try to limit the junk food that we keep in the house - I have ZERO will power - if there is a chocolate bar in the house - it doesn't last long! I ate a lb bag of pretzel m&m's by myself just after Jayden was born!
Anyway, good luck - it's a LONG process...but, so worth it!
I've been really watching what I eat. When I was pregnant, I lived on cereal mostly -- oh and ice cream. Since the baby was born, I can hardly even look at cereal so that helps. I haven't been eating fast food at all. I pack my lunch every day. And in general I don't have as much time to eat as I did before!!
Although I've lost the "pounds" from pregnancy, I definitely haven't lost the flab. I really need to work out, but haven't found the time or motivation to do it.

My parents just ordered that book! They said once they read it & try it out, they'll let DH & I borrow it.
I trained for a half marathon, started 6 weeks pp, just finished last Sunday. Now I am doing P90X the lean program, Day 1 was killer. BUT I WILL STICK TO IT, I DO THIS WITH EVERYTHING.
Before I was pregnant though I ran several half marathons and a full so my mucles sort of remembered running. I stopped running half way through pregnancy and regret it very much, switched to walking and I still ate healthy and gained 70 lbs. My body hated pregnancy esp when I stopped running and went into shock.
It has been a battle but I am starting to like the way I look again and in clothes. I feel much better. I still have 20-25 lbs to go. But I feel and look 10 times better.
I have never had to lose weight before, it is tough stuff. I always was a soccer player and a runner and could eat what I wanted.
I still have ~5 lbs to go, & toning - but I've been running 3-4x/wk I'm now up to 3 miles. I also do planks & ab work w/exercise ball after running & yoga 1x/wk. I EBF, so I lose calories there & I eat small frequent meals throughout the day & lots of h2o. hth!
