Sister Wives, M/Cs, IF...oh my!

So, on tonight's episodes of Sister Wives, the first wife has been talking about her TTTC.  Apparently, she has unexplained infertility.  It took her 5 years to get pregnant with their only child, then had one other pregnancy, which was a m/c.  

The two other wives have 6 kids each...I can't imagine what that's like for the first wife!  But the 3rd wife (who's about 38 now, I think) had a m/c about a year ago, too.  And she's the one who had the healthy baby on tonight's first episode.  :)

They were all very forthcoming, yet not overly dramatic, about their struggles.  And I cried when that beautiful baby was born.  

I've really enjoyed this show, so I just thought I'd share!

    I'm watching it now. I can't imagine being the first wife. I mean I get upset when my friends get pregnant again and again. I can't imagine if they were also married to my husband.

    Yes!!!  That poor woman.  Although, she did say that being part of a large family helped her because she'd feel so much more alone if they were only a family of three.  Still...wow.

    I also decided I'd be REALLY upset if my husband decided for US that IVF was something we NEEDED. It's one thing to talk about it but an entirely different thing for him to tell me we were doing it for MY anniversary present.
