4 month dr visit tonight-what should I expect?

What shots will he get and will he be upset like at the 2 month dr visit? That was so horrible that I really hope he is not that upset again. Should I give him baby Tylenol before going to the appt? Thx

    Yup! Unfortunately, it's the exact same shots. One in each thigh and drink one...BOO. I recommend you to give tylenol BEFORE you go to the doc and every 4 hrs after for the rest of today..(pedi told me to do this).. It worked wonders for us.. It made his legs less sore... and he only cried or a minute at his 4 month shot versus forever at 2 months (didn't know to give tylenol then)

    My LO, has never had to drink anything, just 3 shots. And she wasn't as bad after the 4 month ones. FYI, our doctor says no Tylenol before the shots because studies are showing it can reduce the efficacy of the vaccine. I didn't have to give her tylenol after, either actually.

    Our pediatrician said the same about giving Tylenol prior.
