So, I gave in! Today I bought maternity pants... I know all I have is bloat, but I am sick of squeezing into my regular pants and feeling uncomfortable.
In the store I felt kind of uncomfortable because I feel I look more "chunky" than pregnant... but hey... everyone starts out here right?!?!?
I ended up buying three pair of jeans... really nice looking... nicer than some of my regular jeans actually!  They are SOOOOOOOOO comfy... why aren't all jeans made like this... I don't think I ever want to wear regular jeans again LOL!
Re: Maternity Pants
I'm right behind you. Today even my fat jeans hurt.

I finally gave into elastic today at 11 weeks. I was slender before the pregnancy but was uncomfortable in my clothes. I bought some pants at Ross that were inexpensive but comfortable. And I bought some pants online at Old Navy last night...hope they fit well!
I got mine at motherhood... I think that's what it's called... awesome! The best thing is they have petite sizes so I don't have to hem them! Although the more fancy pockets don't come petite... but I bought them anyways!
I also tried Target today... I don't know if it's just because they are renovating... but they had NOTHING... and what they did have was horrible looking! I really expected to buy a lot there, since their prices are always so much better, but I had no luck today.
I wanted to try Old Navy... I'll get there when I have a very noticeable bump I guess.

I dug out a pair of maternity capri pants yesterday. SO comfy! I know that I am mostly bloat, but being a 2nd timer I think I also may be starting to get more of a baby belly too.
Also, totally agree with pp about maternity pants postpartum. I probably wore maternity pants for close to a month after DD was born. They were just so much more comfortable than normal pants!
I am right there. I couldn't stand my work pants anymore. I have only gained like 3 pounds and I am 9 weeks but just NOT comfortable all day..
I bought four pairs of pants the next size up. I wear them now, even though they are a little big. I'm just not ready for the maternity pants. I figured I can wear them after LO is born. I have all my maternity clothes from DD, and I pregnant through the same season so I won't have to buy many.
I have also been doing the rubberband trick with some of my jeans.
