I couldn't not only have to share the attention of my husband but also have to take on extra responsibilities of the the other wives and their children.
I watch shows like this and still can't see how people do it. Marriage is work enough.
havent gotten to see it yet... keep forgetting... the DH wants to watch it too weird...but everytime it shows previews he is like WTH would a man want 3 or 4 wives for... Then uses that time to kiss my butt about how he got the jackpot with me...
I couldn?t handle my husband having an intimate relationship with another woman and in this case three other woman. Also, I found it completely crazy that the thought of his first wife having another husband was vulgar?something he couldn?t bare to imagine and against nature. I just don?t understand why these women don?t see what he?s really doing. I also find it interesting that several of the daughters have come straight out saying polygamy is not for them, despite being raised in it. I would love to hear what their sons think.
I am also addicted to this show. I swore I wouldn't watch it, but it sucked me in. I was also appalled that Kody said that imagining his first wife, Meri, with anyone else was "vulgar" and "against nature". It's such a hypocritical lifestyle.
And I agree, Robyn cries waaay too much, though she is cute.
Nice how Kody gets to "marry" a hot young thang after 16-20 years of 'marriage' with the other 3. I could never accept that in my marriage, but I suppose it's all in how you're raised??

My husband and I are addicted to this show. Though he constantly yells, "This is so offensive!" when we watch it. I generally pride myself on being open-minded, but this show challenges that.
I agree - this morning when I got to work I couldn't stop talking about Kody's claim he couldn't get past the "vulgarity" of Meri's question about how he would feel if she was with other men.
Also, as pregnant women how would you feel having to share your husband while pregnant and even more - knowing your husband KISSED another of his wives/girlfriends (whatever the heck Robyn is) while you were in labor?!?
Re: Sister wives...no fricken way
I don't think I could handle knowing that my DH has such an intimate relationship with other women. I claimed that shiit when I said "I do".
OH, and the new wife(whatever her name is) cries too much.
Agreed!! She is going to start giving Farrah (from Teen Mom) a run for her crying money.
