Why hello nesting...nice to meet you!

I just sat down after about 6 1/2 hours of straight cleaning/organizing. I must have touched every single room in the house! I did a TON of work in the baby's room to make space for all the goodies we'll be getting next week at our shower. Its really nice to have gotten so much accomplished!

I am pretty sore now, but I just had so much energy I didn't want to waste it! Thankfully I have tomorrow off, so if I'm sore I'll be able to relax.

I thought nesting wasn't supposed to kick in until you are about to go into labor? Usually I can't do more than an hour of straight cleaning before I'm wiped, so this is definitely something new!  Anyone else have some new found energy?

    Its funny you say that. My hubby and i celebrated our first anniversary today, and spent a good part of it looking into new furniture and tv for the livingroom.

    Out with the old... in with the new!

    I bet my husband would love for this to happen to me! LOL  I just woke up for a 3 hour nap! and I'm still exhausted!  I cleaned a little bit yesterday, but he did the majority of it.  Awesome that you got a lot done in the LO's room though!

    oooh have fun!  I am getting nesting, but I am still too tired to follow through on all my urges...  like I want to hang stuff in the baby's room and I'll go out and get everything and then the second it gets tough I take a nap....  lol.

    I scrubbed the baseboards in my kitchen with a toothbrush on Saturday. No kidding. And I cleaned all the cupboards and vacuumed under the fridge, stove and the dishwasher. HEEEELLLLLO nesting!

    I'm dying to get things done but with this cold, I put away 2-3 things and am exhausted. I'm sitting here looking at the pile of goodies we got at our shower yesterday and it's bugging the crap outta me. So if you want to nest at my house, you're more than welcome! :)
