discharge/spotting (kinda gross)

When I went to the bathroom today this long yellow string of mucous discharge came out and it had a pea-sized glob of brown blood in it.  I never had this with my first pregnancy and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this?  I don't even remember seeing yellow snotty discharge before, so I don't know if this is even normal.

Of course, this happens now that I am 3000 miles away for the next 9 days!

    I've had similar happenings throughout my whole first trimester, and baby is fine.  It could be a result of having sex, or there could be a tiny bruise somewhere.  If you're worried or if it gets worse (more brown spotting or red blood, or cramps) call your practitioner, but it's really probably nothing to worry about.

    I have green, yellow buggary mucus, HA!

    I had a tiny spot of brown after my exam but that was it.  All colors are normal, HA!

    Yesterday I had this glob of yellow-ish mucous. Not quite EWCM or watery...it was in a category all it's own. Yummy!
