2nd Trimester
For All the 2nd Tri Haters.
Ok so I'm just going to come out and say it because I have absolutely no patience with the BS that is going on regarding the "mean 2nd tri board".
1) If you are so freakin insecure that what someone says on a god damn message board offends your delicate sensibilities than I truly fear for your children. Life isn't fair ladies, there will always be someone bigger, stronger, prettier, smarter and snarkier than you. GET THE HELL OVER IT! All your little "oh 2nd tri girls are so mean" posts are doing is reconfirming the fact that you are an insecure moron who needs the gratification of internet strangers to make you feel good. Do you really think that you are earning any points ANYWHERE IRL by trying to be a bump fairy godmother? What I want to know is seriously, how the hell some of you made it through life so far what with the fact that you need CONSTANT reassurance and pats on the back in order to make it through your daily lives.
2) You don't have to respond to any post that you don't want to, also by responding to a post you are freely acknowledging that you are allowing your opinion to be questioned, judged, flamed or agreed upon. I have responded to posts and had my opinion flamed or questioned by some of the same women that I usually have agreed view points with. However, I don't jump down their throats or call them biatches or run to another board and post how mean and snarky they are. Why you ask? Because I made the decision to put my opinion out there and like I said before...when you hit that post button you are pretty much signing on a dotted line to have your opinion open to either good or bad comments. Like your grandmother used to say, If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen! If you are SO afraid of your opinion being judged by those "meanies" then DONT FREAKIN POST IT! You are the sad equivalent of the high school cheerleader that sends her quarterback boyfriend naked pictures of herself and then cries because the whole football team saw them.
3) I honestly don't give a rats a$$ what ANYONE on this site thinks about me or how I respond to posts, but I will tell you this. For all of you that think 2nd tri is full of mean, unsupportive biatches whose entire purpose is to "harass or bully" other posters, I want you to listen very closely to this. I have been on bedrest since practically the beginning of my pregnancy, I have been to the ER and L&D more times than I even count for complications during this pregnancy, I spend every single day in constant fear that I will lose this child just like I lost my first and second and third. What do I think of 2nd tri? I think these are some of the most caring, supportive, funny, intelligent women I have known on a message board. I get PM's daily from them asking how I am doing, supporting me and listening to me cry/vent when things go wrong. These women have listened when I was on the verge of breaking down and they have made me laugh when I didn't even think it was possible. In my world these women are amazing, and the fact that they don't take BS from anyone and are willing to call people out on their stupidity just makes me feel 100 times better about them. You know why? Because I know when they are giving me their support and their encouragment that it is truly coming from their hearts and NOT their need to be "well-liked" or "internet besties".
That is all I have to say, take it for what its worth.

I don't have time to explain this whole pregnancy thing to you but technically you're not third tri yet. You can not understand that changes that take place when you hit that mark. So you just wait.
And before you pull the super smug I've had kids before let me remind you that this is a pregnancy board. Not a look at my litter board so I'm still technically more experienced than you and my opinions and advice mean more. And I'm plat so I'm like quadruple better than you because I'm farther along in gestation and Bump points.

WTF? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Women who have to be on bedrest for their entire pregnancy's are amazing. I almost went totally and utterly insane when my m/s was the worst for about 7 weeks and I could do much besides lay on the couch. I can't even imagine having to do it for an entire pregnancy. Poo on your friend, hmph.

You're bump point total means you have more time on your hands. Find a younger man and maybe you wouldn't have that problem.

While I am so thankful that you are able to use "worst" properly I can't say that I agree with your recommendation of her pooing on her friend. That is quite unsanitary.
