Dear Babies:
It is not December. You all have to stay put until at least November for most of you. Your mommies and daddies love you and are very eager to meet you but that doesn't mean you have to make your entrance into this world now.
Many of your mommies and daddies haven't had the wonderful party that is supposed to give you all kinds of neat things. Please stop stressing your parents out. You have the rest of your life for that, don't start in the womb.
Love,
Your Parents.
Re: Dear December Babies: (Open Letter)
Threatening physical abuse if exits the womb is a sure fire tactic. Or you could threaten to leave him with a bunch of strangers until you are ready for him. Which technically would be the truth if he had to stay in NICU.
The most recent threat that we've tried seems to be working (oh goodness - I say that, but watch...). We've told Nolan that if he gets fancy and tried to pull more stunts, that Santa will not be coming for a loooong time. Forget the coal - the guy just won't show up. No presents, no cookies. NO SANTA.
Let's hope he takes us seriously.

I'm all for eviction notices.. gives you time to prepare.. All these early birds need calm down.
They are bad influences on all the other LOs
I had a dream last night that my LO decided to come early and I was freaking out because I haven't had my showers yet and had nothing for LO. I woke up, told SO and we had a heart to heart with LO. We told her if she's a good girl, stays put and doesn't give Mommy too much trouble that we will buy her a puppy. Then SO threatened to cut me off from the bump because reading about all the mama's going into L&D so early was obviously messing with my subconscious...
Love the letter. Nightly my husband talks to my belly through phone...and I always here him tell her to stay put. I will be reading her this letter now. I hope everyone that has been making L&D trips, or having complications starts to have some better luck, and for all of us who have been blessed to have our LO's safely put thus far, that they keep on baking and don't follow their fellow Dec. babies suite.
you are too cute
that was awesome.
I second this!!!
