How about never? During the first tri it was the LAST thing on my mind, then mid-second tri I really wanted it, but by then I was starting to show and DH couldn't do it with the baby there... so yeah. going to be a virgin again soon, haha

I am so sorry! I am struggling with every other day not being enough. I can't imagine going almost a year without it.

Thanks for posting this! I'm actually trying to work between bumping today so I can hopefully go home early--boss is away!

We were down to about once every other week or so during 1st tri, back up to nearly twice a week during 2nd tri, now we're around once a week and that's usually me kind of taking one for the team...

It was once a week, sometimes twice for a while there. Now it's more like once every 7-10 days. Still enough to make him happy.

Last time we tried, about a month ago : ( I cried. It hurt sooo much that kinda ruined things. DD was playing with DH yesterday & she sort of jumped/fell on him & he was like "ugh, careful" but then was said "not like it ever gets used anyway, but still" I feel bad now. Maybe we'll try again....if we are ever both home & awake at the same time.

...yeah seriously, where's the 'less than once a month' option?

My poor husband, I'm either still in my pjs, sleeping or sick when he gets home. Plus he's terrified of jostling me or leaning on me and hurting me ..so yeah, not happening.

But we're both kind of okay with it and thankfully he has the foresight to understand that its not a permanent thing.

My husband and I definitely had a period of adjustment to this new belly... once I started showing, he felt really uncomfortable. Luckily, we are working together to make things comfortable so we can still have time together romantically. However, we both agreed on a "no pressure" policy.... and make sure to have lots of make-out time to keep us close.

Um, not since July -- when we were on vacation. (Unless there was a time that I'm forgetting...)

Honestly, hubs hasn't even tried to get any or mentioned it. I think he knows better, but there are some nights when I've thought -- "if he initiates it, I might let him..."

Or, there have been moments when I kind of get in the mood, but by the time I get into bed it's Nah, I'm too tired and uncomfortable to muster up the energy or be the one to suggest anything!

I could probably do a Friday confession about how long it's been....at least a month, I think. I usually leave for work before he's up and moving, and he doesn't get home until 9pm most nights these days and I'm utterly exhausted by then. And the fact that my hips ache like mad most of the time doesn't do much to put me in the mood either. I'm going to try to make a good effort this weekend, because I keep thinking about the 6 week + PP dry spell DH'll have to endure, so I'd like to do it while we can (if I can).

Um, I think twice since I've been pregnant. It sucks, but I just feel like crap all the time. Wish I could say it bothered me, but it really doesn't.

As I was pondering my answer, I thought for sure I was going to be in the minority and all posting "woe is my poor husband" but I'm pretty surprised to see that my ?once a month' choice is winning by a landslide....i'm not sure what the issue is, if it's me or him. I can't imagine it's him....maybe he just doesn't want to bug me? I could take it or leave it most of the time, but he doesn't even try anymore.....maybe I'll try and make a move tonight and see what happens. I miss him, but it's sure not comfortable, I know that much.

Let's see... I might be the winner for not having sex the longest. The last time we did it was around Week 14 or 15.... and I'm 32 weeks now... You do the math. It hurt so badly then that I really haven't wanted to do it again. (Sex hurt in general sometimes even before I got pregnant). Fortunately, H completely understands and doesn't pressure me or make me feel guilty at all.

My husband is very uncomfortable having sex we did last week and it totally freaks him out now . He can't get over that she is in there so there is definitley a lack of sex right now.

We had sex for the first time in maybe a month and half (I can't even remember) last Saturday because DH got drunk at a wedding. The next day we had a long talk about how he's just not been in the mood at all because he is stressed about work and school and the LO. He's very upset about having no libido, but since I haven't been all about being in the mood it hasn't bothered me to much. I'm just hoping that this is all a phase and will clear up after she is born.

I'm in the less than 1 a month category. I bled every time we tried it for awhile which scared my poor H to death (even tho the mw said I just have an irritable cervix) and he has refused to have sex with me ever since. We still mess around every now and then, but it was so annoying during 2nd tri when I really wanted sex!. Now, I'm pretty indifferent, but I'm trying to get in the mood because I want those great prostaglandins working on my cervix (pretty romantic and sexy reason, huh?).

Yeah, I need the "never" option! I don't even remember the last time we did it. I know it's been a couple of months. I'm just not that into it. Every time we've tried it this pregnancy, I start cramping and it lasts at least 10 minutes afterward....and that's with no "O". That and now I'm tired all the time and my hips hurt....so sex is the last thing on my mind. It's the first thing on his, so I feel a bit bad but I know he doesn't want to do anything if I'm not going to enjoy myself as well. Plus, he's military...we're used to many, many months of no nookie when he deploys. Not saying it's a good thing, just we have practice with long spells without. Ok, now I'm rambling...I'll stop. Smile

does oral count?? it's been hard to find a comfy position so we've resorted to that... probably once a week or so. it's actually been kinda fun, like high school.

haha. but i miss it. he has no problem with it, and i'm totally in the mood, but it's just toooo hard to find a good position that doesn't hurt my belly.
