Up & Up Sensitive Formula is a WIN!

No change whatsoever in DD's tummy or reaction. I almost dare to say she likes it better because of the lack of bubbles.

I still like the Similac for night (as it's thicker) but will use this during the day. Huge savings over the year! That's for sure!

Hope this helps someone else wondering what to switch to if their LO was on Similac Sensitive (or an alternate when it's not available which is our current situation).

Re: Up & Up Sensitive Formula is a WIN!

  • We switched DD to Up & Up brand when she started refusing her bottles of Similac (recalled container, go figure!). She's done great on it!

  • That's great news!  I think that's what I'm switching too also as soon as this can of Enfamil I have is gone.  I had a long conversation with the pedi about it and he totally recommends buying the cheapest formula.  He says its all the same.
  • How long has she been on it for? Long enough to have a couple BMs? I switched DD to that last week and it made her TERRIBLY constipated. I'm talking dry, chalky, hard.as.a.rock poo that I literally had to HELP her get out of her bum as she shrieked at the top of her little lungs. I am NEVER buying private label again.

And no, formula is most definitely not all the same. DD is back on Similac Sensitive (the non-recalled size) and doing marvelously. Trust me, we'd go the cheap route if we could since we have twins.

  • We switched to the up&up sensitive about a month ago and LOVE it!  Our LO did get constipated for about 2 weeks, but our pedi said this is common when you change formulas.  Ever since he has had at least one dirty diaper a day with no problem.  We are happy that he is happy and so are our wallets!
