NBR: ktichen curtains

So I'm still on my search for the best kitchen curtains to get.  I think I've narrowed down what style I'm going to go with.  Quick question -- if you have kitchen curtains, do kitchen curtains (near table, not over sink or counter) go to the floor, only to the window ledge or slightly past?

    technically its in the dining room, but so close to the kitchen that i voted anyway lol.  i voted to the floor, but i think a lot of it depends on your kitchen and the style and what's in front of/near the window. 

    if there is something in front of the window then i'd probably go with to the window ledge.... but like i said, there are a lot of variables... lol.  what style of curtains are you leaning towards?

    I voted for "just past the window ledge" based on curtains we had growing up. For some reason, curtains that go all the way to the floor in a kitchen seem a bit dramatic to me.

    The only exception is if the window ledge is close to the floor. At that point, I think they would be better going all the way to the floor.

    ditto this.  my windows are big so they'd look silly with little curtains lol.
