DH came home Monday which was also my birthday. [He's not wearing his ring b/c he doesn't take it with him]

It was supposed to be his first time meeting DS but he came home on emergency leave about a month after he left. DS was born with a life threatening defect that wasn't caught. He had surgery at 4 days old and DH and I saw him at 5 days old after he had surgery. He is all better now and you'd never guess anything was wrong. But, I was told before he was transfered that he might not make it during the transfer to childrens hospital.

DS is completley in LOVE with his daddy. It's adorable.

DH has been gone for a month now. Thank goodness we only have 5 months left and his original mission in Pakistan was cancelled. I'm so glad your DH made it home safely and you are all together again! Homecomings are THE BEST!

My goodness! You are the trooper! I only had to go through 6 mo of DH being deployed while I was pregnant. You're an amazing woman. Congratulations on your husband being home and safe! Its the best feeling ever!!! ENJOY!!! :]
