I'm constantly worried that DS isn't hitting the proper milestones on time. I know. I know. You can't compare to other babies because all babies are different. I can't help it. I am a worrier. It's who I am. I want to take an informal poll...

1. Is your LO a boy or a girl?

2. How old is your LO?

3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start?

4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start?

5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted?

6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start?

    1. Is your LO a boy or a girl? girl

    2. How old is your LO? 6 months

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? about a week ago

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? she can, but she gets bored quickly

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? super early. Maybe 2 months?

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? not even close

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  nope

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted?4ish months we could just hold his hands. He stands alone now, not holding anything.

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? Yes, 7 months.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  6 months

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? yes around 5.5 mo

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? meh not so much, she can but she primarily nurses so she doesn't get enough practice,she started a few weeks ago

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? she's been doing this  she was young she has always loved to stand

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start?  yes but only a few steps at a time she started this last week, she army crawls like crazy though

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  she started last week

    1. Is your LO a boy or a girl? Boy

    2. How old is your LO? 6 months

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? yes, unsupported for about a week now. Though DD did sit unsupported at about 5 months (however she was in a harness for hip dysplacia so she was always in a sitting position)

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? he's lazy, he can and will for a minute or two & then drops it. DD was holding her own bottle by 6 mo.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? He's been doing this since his 1 mo. check up.

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? nope. He scoots & has been for about a month now. MIL left him on the play mat and went to throw out a diaper. She came back & he was under the coffee table LOL. DD crawled at 7 mo.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up? nope. DD did at 8 mo. I met a lady at the park & her 7 mo. old daughter pulls up on her own.

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start?  Yes, around 4.5 mo

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start?  Sometimes, but she would rather I do it

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted?  Yes, around 4 mo

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? No, although she wants to

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  Not yet

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? Around 4 1/2 months

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? Nope, he's too messy but he does great with a sippy

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? Super early! I first leaned him up to stand when he was around 3 months old!

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? Just after he turned 6 months

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  Just before he turned 7 months.  Just yesterday he started standing up without holding onto anything! Yeay!

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? 6 months

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? Yes.  Right around 6.5 months, but some feedings she still wants us to hold it for her.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? Around 6.5 months she could put weight on her legs and use a table to hold herself up.

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? She has been army crawling since 6-6.5 months.  Still not full crawling.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  2 weeks ago.  She started in her crib and we had to lower it.  She will now hold on to us and pull up.

    1) boy 2) 6 months, 1 week I think lol 3) no, he's only barely tripod sitting on occasion for like 10 seconds 4) I can't even get him to suck on one much less hold it! 5) around 4.5 months 6) nope 7) nope. Sorry for the format on my phone

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? Yes, 5.5 months, but he doesn't always want to hold it.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? Really early - like 2-3 months.

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? He started army crawling at almost 6 months, he is nearly crawling now.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  not yet

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? yes.  about 2 weeks ago.

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? yes.  don't know bc I can't do bottles (I bf & he won't take one when I'm in the house, seriously) but I've been told.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? like 2 days ago.

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? no

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  not yet.

    2. How old is your LO? Practically 8 months.

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? Yes she started sitting at 4 months by herself.

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? Yes right around when she was sitting on her own.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? I can't even remember but it was really early. At her 4 month appt. she pulled herself up while holding the pedi's hands. [that was the first time she pulled herself  up]

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? She started getting into the crawling position a little after she was 4 months but she hasn't actually started going until about 3 weeks ago. Even though she can crawl she prefers to roll around the floor more.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  She pulled herself up holding our hands at 4 months but we'd kind of have to help her. [we'd pull up with her as she pulled herself up] She just pulled up on a piece of furniture last Friday and hasn't done so again since.

    Thanks everyone. I just feel like DS is so behind. He literally just started putting weight on his legs to stand like last week. He's super wobbly (sp). He is trying really hard to pull himself into sitting position, but hasn't figured it out. He does sit when we put him there. He has held his bottle, but has intention of doing it regularly. He's not crawling or army crawling though he looks like he wants to. This is when being laid back would come in handy! I hate being a crazy worrier!

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? I Wish!

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? With help she's been doing this since about 3 months

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? yes he started about 4.5 months... completely unassisted in the last 2 weeks or so

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? yes and no, when we use glass, no its too heavy for him, plastic yes but we only have 1 and only use it if all the glass are dirty so I don't know when he started doing this plus DH gives him bottles i BF only.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? not there yet

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? he army crawls and has for a few weeks

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  he just pulled up in his crib today but only to his knees

    2. How old is your LO? 6 months (born 4 week premature, but we don't do the whole adjusted age thing or he would be 5 months)

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? Yes, 5 months

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? He likes to help, but doesn't hold it on his own

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? 3 months - he loves standing and we have played the standing game since he was 3 months old

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? Not really, he does drag himself by his chin across his diaper changing pad along with a bit of an army crawl/kick thing, but he still hates tummy time (generally speaking).

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up? Not yet

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start?  Yes- started really crawling at 7 month, 1 week

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  He started pulling up 3 days ago.

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? Yes. She started at 5.5 months or so.

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? She can but she's not too big into it. She'll hold my hand while I hold the bottle. She's only been on bottles regularly for a month or so  though.

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? She started bearing weight on her legs around 6 months I think. Maybe a tiny bit after that.

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? She started crawling right around 6.5 months.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  Just about 2 weeks ago, just before she turned 8 months. Now, that is ALL she wants to do. She's starting to cruise, too- she'll take a few tentative steps while holding on to whatever she's got in her grip at the moment. She's really focused on it.

    I'm with you on the curiosity and worrying. I watch my daughter and see how strong she is physically and motorically, but I worry myself sick about how quiet she is compared to other kids her age. I know she'll catch up (or, at least I pray she will!) but in the meantime, it makes me a nutter. I just keep telling myself that they do what they can when they're ready.

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up?  5 months 3 weeks. he started the sitting up, crawling and pulling himself up all in the same week

    2. How old is your LO? she will be 7 months on the 13th (born 6 weeks early)

    3. Is your LO sitting? If so, when did they start? she's been able to "tripod" sit since about 5 1/2 months but can't get herself completely sitting.

    4. Does your LO hold his/her own bottle? If so, when did they start? she's been able to hold her bottle since about 4 months but i dont always let her because she doesn't always hold it at the right angle to get the last few ounces of formula

    5. Does LO or when did LO start putting enough weight on their legs to stand assisted? she's been putting weight on her legs since about 3 months

    6. Does LO crawl? If so, when did they start? yes at exaclty 6 months

    7. Does LO or when did LO start pulling themselves up? she just learned how to pull herself up to her knees 2 nights ago while holding onto the sides of the pack n play. she does it all the time now. she managed to pull herself to her feet that night too but hasn't done it since.
