I did and I called the doctor no less than 3 times! They said as long as it wasn't heavy/red like a regular period and there was no cramping involved, then it was probably fine. They didn't want to see me any earlier unless it did get heavier or red and I started cramping.
I was absolutely terrified, but we saw a strong heartbeat and baby was right on track yesterday at our u/s!
I had spotting on Saturday and Sunday. It was heavy so I didn't call. i already had an appointment schedule for Monday. They do an ultrasound just to check (everything was fine).
Yes I did call, Bleeding is not normal but does not always mean it is something serious either. I would leave it up to your doctor to decide if anything should be done, sometimes they like to check the levels and progestrone or do an early ultra sound.
Mine is just a little brown discharge, but only when I wipe. Today is just the second day it happened. Barely anything, but I guess better to be safe than sorry.
I had spotting the day I got my BFP (talk about a downer!) and the following day. I wasn't going to call because it was light and stopped after two days, but then I saw on my OB's web site that they say to call if there is any bleeding. So I called the following week. They didn't have me come in any earlier, but said that at my first appointment (in 1.5 weeks now!) they want me to come in a little early to do a early US to make sure everything is ok. I'm glad because I want that comfort, too! And it sounds like I'll be getting a US a little earlier than they otherwise would have given me one, so I'm excited to hopefully see my baby's heartbeat!
Spotting is common so try not to freak out too much. I spotted the entire 6th week with my son, and I had spotting before I got a BFP with this one. You can call your doctor for peace of mind, but don't be too upset if they tell you not to worry about it unless it gets period like.
Re: If you have had spotting before your first apt.

It may be normal, but that doesn't mean it is not scary the first time you see it.
I didn't say it isn't scary, just that its normal...
