Success with Evening Primrose Oil?

I seem to be lacking a bit in the CM department. Has anyone had success with evening Primrose Oil? When and how often did you take it?

In our TTGP list we have 96 ladies.

Out of that, only 6 of us are using Evening Primrose Oil (6.25%).

I'd love to hear about the experience too.

I used it for the first time this cycle and I definitely saw a difference in my CM. I used it from CD1 until I thought I O'd. I did my research and read somewhere that you shouldn't take it after you O but should switch to Flax Oil instead so that's what I did. I was pretty impressed, it really did seem to work. Hope that helps!

I take FertileCM supplements, and they help a lot. I think EPO is an ingredient in FertileCM.

I thought about trying FertileCM but wasn't sure if it would really help or not. I'm glad to know that it works! Maybe I'll try that when I'm out of EPO.

1300 mg, once a day. that's what the bottle says (I got the Vitamin Shoppe brand) and I'm always afraid to take more than the recommended dosage

It has definitely worked for me. I sometimes feel like I had peed a little I had so much CM. I definitely noticed when I had EWCM this cycle which made trying to predict O much easier. HTH = ) Oh and I took Sundown Naturals(the brand) 500MG. I took 2 pills/day so 1000MG/day= )

I just bought some today. I was going to order Fertile CM but after being told that EPO was the main ingredient, I just ran to the store. I plan to start it when AF arrives and take it until I O. I too have been told not to take it after you O because it will make your uterus contract. Hope it helps!!

I took mucinex this cycle I am on and could tell a small difference. I now know that the pills are a year out dated..not sure if that make a huge difference or not. I did take Mucinex when I got pregnant with DD.

One more question: Is taking EPO safe? Did your doctor reccommend it? I just don't want to mess anything up!

Has anyone tried L-Arginine? I read somewhere that it helps with CM, but I haven't seen anything on here about anyone using it.
