I keep hearing that around the end of the pregnancy the baby will kick less often because of lack of space. When did this happen for you?Did you actually notice the difference?
My LO hasn't slowed down in the least yet. His kicks are just becoming more and more painful as he becomes larger and stronger! Ouch!
Re: When did LO's kicks become less frequent?
my little man has been VERY active - - kicking and punching until his little heart is content, but recently (i am 33 weeks) he's slowed down alot. it made me really uneasy but i could stil feel movement just more subdued i guess. i spoke with my doctor about it and he said it is common for some babies, depending on their positions, to move less "intensly", which makes sense... they dont have alot of room in there!!
but talk to your doctor if you're concerned.
The nurse at L&D said that is a total myth. Baby should still be moving a lot, but the feeling can change from kicks to wiggles/stretches because of their lack of space.
Your LO should be moving 10x per hour until delivery otherwise you need to call your Dr. ASAP.
