Movements feeling different...

So up until about 3 or 4 days ago when LO moved it was solid kicks and now it's mostly like this weird squirm feeling (like maybe she's getting too big to kick and she's stretching my uterus or something?) Anyone else feel like this, lol?

Yes, I've been feeling this too..kind of shivering, seizure like movements which made me a bit nervous, but there's been so many posts about this and googling it I've found a bunch of people asking this question and everyone saying they've felt it too.

It feels like how when you see a baby after a bath and is cold and angry and they kind of shiver and stretch out...that's how it feels to me. I feel like the baby is pissed at how little room s/he has and is trying stretch

Definitely! They just get too cramped and can't punch and kick as much. I feel knees and elbows moving across... Feels like someone digging a knuckle into me! And I feel him just pushing out- like stretching!

I almost feel like I can feel the amniotic fluid moving with the baby...it's more swishy, or something. Like if you ran your hand underwater in a bath...you can kind of feel the water's resistance and swishing around you. Do you think this is what people mean when they say they are feeling shivers?

lol, i feel the exact same way, and it feels so weird when it moves on my side from top to bottom that way!

yeah i sometimes feel shivers and quakes and the big kicks are getting fewer and far between.

I still get quite a few punches and kicks, but I'm noticing a lot of shifting...like a butt moving across my stomach. It's crazy to watch!!

I've experienced these movements, too, but not lately. My movements now are that of an elliptical machine. lol The baby is just constantly pedaling away on my belly!! It's either that feeling, or the felling of him balling up/twisting & so I feel/see the movement on the outside & feel the corresponding movement of the other side of his body on the inside. Good times!!

I feel the swishy feeling too, I described it to DH as like if LO is doing "the wave" with his body, & that didn't concern me at all, I'jm sure it's hard for him to get comfy in there. I think the twitchy/ shivering/ spasmy feeling all of us ladies were talking about it a different feeling than the swishy feeling.

Oh these babies & all their insane movements!!

Yes! I feel like it's a little earthquake tremor in my stomach. I've started making DH feel with both hands spread across me so he gets some idea of how WEIRD it feels. I mean it does feel sooo weird, ya know. It never worried me, just as the movement evolved from early on flutters to kicks, this just feels like the continuation of that.
