Prozac and Tiredness?

in Postpartum Depression
I have been on Prozac for two weeks and I feel pretty good minus one huge problem. I am so tired through the day. Does this eventually go away and do I need to give it more time. I am also having huge problems sleeping, but don't want to take anything because I have to get up with LO at night and I am scared I will sleep through his cries.

    I had to get off Prozac because I was always tired and while I could fall asleep at night I would wake at anytime between 4-6 and not be able to nap all day. The anxiety was just horrible. Give it time but it also can take a few meds till you get the right one. GL

    I'm in the same boat. I've been on it for almost a month and have read that a lot of the side effects will eventually go away. I've been on Zoloft before and hated it, so I am sticking with the Prozac for now. For me being tired far outweighs being anxious, but it's still really annoying especially when you're caring for a baby! GL! i hope for both our sakes it will go away!

     

    Oh, AND I was also thinking that I remember being tired before the Prozac from the anxiety, so I'm not totally sure if being tired (for me) is actually from the Prozac, or if the tiredness is bothering me more since I'm otherwise feeling much better.
