Next Thursday is the 1-year anniversary of my D&C.  It also happens to be my 27th birthday.  My birthday is never really celebrated (no parties or anything like that), but I want to do something different this year.  I told my DH that I really want him to be aware that this birthday is going to be hard for me (as was last year, obviously), but he's not a planner.  I can't imagine that he's actually scheming something for me.

So, WWYD for your birthday/D&C anniversary?  Our options as far as nightlife and entertainment are rather limited in our area.  I also have classroom observation and school most of the day.

    My D&C was done a day before my birthday so I totally understand where your coming from.

    Dh took me fishing for my birthday.. I had not been fishing in years and asked him to just take me to the local lake and we just cast our rods off the side of the lake. it was cute, but if thats not your thing...lol. then maybe a nice dinner and a movie of sorts? Find a babysitter and just the two of you go out for a nice night.

    I found out I was PG on my birthday so I know next year will be a rough one for me. Please share what you end up doing & if it help ease the pain, if even a little.

    I'm so sorry you even have to face this scenario. I think I'd like to have a quiet dinner w/MH and leave myself open to whatever I'm feeling that day. Like if I want to just cry, I'd make sure we're in a place where I can do that.

    omg what an aweful occurance on your bday last year, I am so sorry that the two coincided!  Maybesince your bday is on a thursday, on friday after school you could head out of town and get away to somewhere nice!
