  • STTN! w00t, w00t! I don't think I belong in the club anymore. Although, now that I say this, he will return to his other schedule.
  • Ugh, I might be joining this group soon. DS was up at 2:30 and up for good at 4:30. That's nothing compared to you guys, but after 2.5 months of him STTN, this sucks.

  • I am not sure if  my situation applies to this check in. Since DS is still new and I don't expect to get sleep for a whileSmile

DS usually wakes every 3 hours but last night he had one 4 hr stretch. Then he woke up at 3 and was awake until 6 then was asleep until 7:30.

  • 11:00, 12:45, 3:00, 4:00, 6:00 for the day.

But I am feeling better today. I am starting to think I don't really need sleep.

  • Can I join? DS was up at 12:30, 2:30, 3:30, 5:00, and then 6:30. He just fell asleep but I am sure he will be up within a half hour.
  • I'm joining the group too.  DS stayed up until 1:30 only having had a 30 min nap in the afternoon.  It took me 2 hours to try and get him to sleep.  Woke up at 3:30, 5, and 6:30.
  • Since I am fighting a cold DH took DS downstairs to sleep for 2 feedings so I could sleep.

So I was up at 11, 5 and 7. I feel AMAZING. Getting 5 straight hours of sleep was incredible.

How did I ever take a 9 hour night for granted?

  • Well he screamed to not go to sleep and finally we were both so exhausted that we went down around 8:30. Up at 10:30, 1:15 and then we moved to the recliner at 3:40 and I didn't get alot of sleep in there because he was moving and screaming and wanting to eat. I am so glad I am off today, maybe he will nap and I can too. ::crossed fingers::
  • Up at 11:00, and then 2:00 to eat.  Up coughing from 4-5am and then back down until 7am.  Overall a pretty good night!  I was out with my girlfriends last night and dh put him to bed (I usually do since I am a control freak)...I am thinking we may try it again tonight.
  • How about your night Brahim?  Or are we not talking about it since it went well?......
  • 2 nights in a row - up only twice (12:45 and 5). woot!!! he's also gone to bed later these last two nights - maybe that's a correlation?

  • I'm not waiting to be invited... I'm just throwing my dues in the kitty and I'm joining!

Up at 12, 2:30, 4 and up for the day at 7... come on he's almost 6 months old.... I thought it would be better by now.

Crap!  I was hoping for a good night for you!

  • aww thanks KKM!  There is a reason I run this check in...I fully expect to have no sleep for 5 more months.Though I would gladly hand it off were that to change.

But never fear! DH is home tonight from France and should make my life a tad bit easier.  Although he did ask if I could cook something and have it waiting for when he gets here cause he doesn't like Irish food (he's on Aer LIngus)

The funny thing is I'm Irish and he doesn't realize that's what I cook :)  He did say he bought me an awesome presnet in Dublin, so I'm pretty stoked.

  • Can I join? DD is 7 weeks and we were up at 11:30, 1:30, 3:00, 5:00 and I'm up for the day. My other two year old DD decided to wake up at 2:30 wanting to climb in bed with us. After my dh's failed attempts to get her back to bed without throwing a total fit, I had to step in and put down my mommy foot Smile She went to sleep without a peep!
  • she went to bed at 1030pm, which took 2 hours.  slept until 5am, and now she is sleeping again.  I am up though and going to get ready for the gym.

I forgot to mention she usually gets up at 330am, so she is doing much better and hoping for this pattern to stick.

  • The night before last was really bad and yesterday I was exhausted, so last night I left a pumped bottle for DH to give for DS's first feeding.  He woke up at 12:15 am, but I was asleep.  Sadly I woke up at 12:40 am anyway, but went right back to sleep after going to the bathroom.  Then DS woke up at 3, 5:33 and then fussed (waking up and going back to sleep a few times) until 8:20.  When I got DS up, I realized why.  His bed was soaked because he'd leaked through his diaper.  It was almost as if he wasn't even wearing one!

  • He went down at his usual 8:00 but since he missed his late afternoon nap, he was too sleepy to finish his final feeding so he was up at 8:20 and 8:50 until he went down for the night. ?Then he was up at midnight, 4:30 and up for the day at 7. ?Not terrible but not great either!
  • TERRIBLE. Up at 11:30, 12:30, 3:45, 6:45, 8 am
  • I think this thread needs to be for babies say 3 months+.  You 1 monther's have no room to complain...they're newborns!

I feel you!!!  hang in there!

  • tonysbride, does it get better at 3 months for the most part? Please say yes :)

  • Bad... DD went down at 6:45pm (which I hate, but she goes crazy if we put her down later), woke up at 10:30pm, 1:00am where I just pulled her into bed with me.  She then proceeded to squirm and grunt all. night. long.  I know she was still awake at 2:30am, an hour and a half after I first pulled her into bed with me, and she woke up at 5:30am and we got up for the day at 7am.

She was so awesome the night before- down at 6:45pm, up at 2:00am, woke up for the day at 6:45am.  Looks like it was a one day thing.

  • He was up at 10pm, 2am, and 6am. He's like clock work.
  • She was up at 11, 3, and 5 and then we got up at 7.

    Sleep
