Hello Everyone! I am looking for recommendations on day care centers in the Portland area. My husband and I (and 2 year old daughter) are relocating to Maine so will have lots of questions....thanks in advance!!

    I'm currently in Portland (pregnant) and looking as well. I have heard good things about Catherine Morrill Day Nursery but haven't checked it out personally yet.

    Welcome to Portland!  I don't have a personal recommendation for day care, but in my research I heard a lot of great things about Bright Horizons (on outer Congress St.).  I did a tour of the facility and it is wonderful.  It's on the high end price-wise though.  Good luck!
