Ummm I just shower when I need to. I stick him in his bouncer and bring him into the bathroom with me....I peek on him every couple minutes and since hes right there I can hear him if he needs anything at all.
After LO is down for the night and DH is home. Usually around 10pm. Sometimes I dont get one till both are asleep in bed, but that gives me time to stand there and let that nice hot water wash the day away. I dry my hair and do a few things around the house and im usually in bed at midnight.
I either do it when DH wakes up for work at 5:45 (since Annabelle wont wake up until around 8/9) or I wait for DH to get home and do it at night. Its not because Annabelle doesnt nap enough or anything, just I hate jumping out of the shower wet (cos its freezing) and I hate feeling rushed. The shower is my time, and I want to enjoy it! :]

This. I blow dry my hair right away too, he usually will fall asleep to the blow dryer sound
depends. sometimes i take LO up with me right after she's eaten and put her in the bouncy seat. she's better behaved that way. ) on rough days i either wait for DH to get home or wait for LO to go to bed. yesterday i don't think i took one at all. ha!

Lately I've been working out and showering before the girls wake up, but otherwise, I just shower when I need to shower. If DD2 is napping, great, but if she's awake, I just sit her on our bedroom floor with some toys while DD1 plays around her or reads books. I can peek out at them from the shower if I need to.
The real problem is when they first start crawling and walking. When DD1 was at that stage, I used to put her in the exersaucer to keep her contained.

Either before DH leaves in the morning (while DD is still asleep) or in the evenings when he is home. If I need one during the day, I wait until she naps and I take her monitor in the shower with me. There is a hook in there for it where it stays dry. I know I can hear it because I have gotten out before to take care of her when she fussed.
ETA: We have 1 bathroom and it is tiny. Even her travel swing doesn't fit through the doorway of the bathroom.
I was waiting until DH got home too because my LO also takes super short naps. But I was getting tired of feeling grubby all day. So after his morning nap, he's usually pretty awake and happy, so he goes in the bouncer while I shower. It's helped tremendously.
I wait til Dh gets home if I want to take a nice long shower, but if it's a quick in and out- I'll put him in his crib and turn on the light/sound machine. That keeps him happy for about 10 mins.
eta- I only have to wash my hair every few days, so I don't need to get my head wet. That way I can hear if he's crying and I can jump out quickly.

After his morning feeding, I stick him in the middle of the bed with some toys and he lays there (usually happily) long enough for me to take a shower ... sometimes he even falls asleep there.

This, I think ds really likes the sound of water since he doesn't make a peep while I'm in there.
I shower, do hair and makeup, get dressed, make the bed and sometimes pump during DS's first nap. He is only a 30-45 min napper, so I'm quick.
Quick doesn't even begin to describe you! My DS usually only naps 30 mins as well, and I'm happy to be showered and dressed. Definitely no makeup, and certainly no pumping in there!
Re: sahm's - when do you shower?
I put her in her bouncy chair and bring it into the bathroom- she seems okay with it.

I get up before everyone in the morning and shower. DH and DD are able to take care of DS if needed while I get dressed.
I don't enjoy getting up so early... but I do enjoy the hour of quiet and peace at the start of the day.

this. DS first nap is usually at around 11:30 since he doesn't wake up until 9:30am to 10am
