Eating Less/Sleeping More - Normal?

LO normally eats around 12oz while I?m away at work (8:30-5). The past couple of days she?s only eaten about half of that. She?s been fighting the bottle, pushing it away to chew/suck on her fingers. Maybe she?s teething - she is drooling more? I?ve tried to give some baby orajel but it doesn?t seem to be helping. Not really sure what to do at this point. She?s also been napping A LOT more during the day. She would nap maybe 15-25 minutes 3-4 times while I?m gone, but now is napping for as long as 2 ? hours up to 3 times a day. I guess I?m just looking (hoping) for someone else to tell me it?s normal and I?m overreacting ?.

Re: Eating Less/Sleeping More - Normal?

  • Does she seem fussy when she is awake? When my son is not eatting well I have his ears checked.

Sleeping more can just mean a growth spurt. Usually when they are having a growth spurt they eat more as well though.

  • She hasn't been really fussy. The only time she gets upset is when she's really tired.
