We're really on our way now! NT scan results -

Came back perfectly normal :)  I knew all my anxiety was for nothing, but I'm still glad this is behind me.  This sounds so sick and twisted, but - it is so nice when "all" I have to worry about is preeclampsia.  (Sick and twisted because that's a *major* thing for me!) 

Of course something freakish could always happen, but I can generally breathe a sigh of relief at this point that the first trimester risks are behind us, and focus on the one enemy I know best (pre-e).  And did you know that the NT scan can even indicate congenital heart defects?  (Also a concern for us since our baby girl had HLHS).  While we will still pay *very* close attention at the anatomy scan, there's nothing at this point to suggest that anything is wrong.

Now it's all on me (double-edged sword!)  Keep taking my shots, keep pre-e away, and, hopefully, everything will be good for a while  . . .
