A lot of my female friends are posting "I like it on (insert random things here - ie, the kitchen table, the laundry hamper, etc)". I'm guessing this is something similar to the bra color status that was happening a while ago, but I can't figure it out! Anyone know?
Re: What is this FB status about?

About a year ago, we played the game about what color bra you were wearing at the moment? The purpose was to increase awareness of October Breast Cancer Awareness month. It was a tremendous success and we had men wondering for days what was with the colors and it made it to the news.
This year's game has to do with your handbag/purse, where we put our handbag the moment we get home for example "I like it on the couch", "kitchen counter", "the dresser" well u get the idea. Just put your answer as your status with nothing more than that and cut n paste this message and forward to all your FB female friends to their inbox. It doesn't have to be suggestive.
The bra game made it to the news. Let's see how powerful we women really are!!! REMEMBER - DO NOT PUT YOUR ANSWER AS A REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE- PUT IT IN YOUR STATUS!!! PASS THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!
This is the message I got about it. I haven't decided whether I am going to post yet or not. Seems to me like they want to make the news again.
This...plus it was done before.
THIS!
If as many people do it as they did last year, it will make news and that's just another plug for breast cancer awareness. Sure, we're not really doing anything huge to help (aside from hopefully draw publicity) but it's also completely effortless...so why not?
If nothing else, it's a cute little game to play with your girlfriends. Lighten up.
TBH that "game" is annoying the everliving f*ck out of me.
I agee 100%.
While I get its a fun game, you cannot say that "I like it on the door knob" does anything. Because half the people posting it are just doing it cause everyone else is and they dont get it. People KNOW about breast cancer, instead of raising "awareness" and playing a game that makes people think they are doing good, raise awareness about the importance of getting checked, or how to check yourself, or places to donate money/time...not just sit on Facebook and hope the news figures it out.
