This year I'll be pregnant in winter so of course my Columbia fitted coat won't work this winter, were any mamas pregnant in winter? Where did you get a coat? I'm debating between a men's coat in a large (hopefully that would fit my belly) or a maternity coat. I looked at the maternity store and the coats they had were not warm at all... it gets COLD here in the winter!!
As a side note, I also looked for long sleeve maternity t-shirt material shirts that were ruched on the side and the lady said "oh we don't make them in long sleeves because most pregnant women run hot anyways"... um not this one! What good is a maternity store if they don't have anything I want/need?!
Re: mama winter coats
yeah, I got those long-sleeved shirts at Target. I also got a few at Motherhood.
I had bought a regular coat that belted above the waist at Marshall's (cheap on sale), and I bought it a size or two too big. Although, it wasn't that hard for me, since I only needed it until about 5-6 months.

My mom made me a fleece "swing coat" one size bigger than I regularly wear. She bought the pattern and fleece from JoAnn Fabrics. Until the third tri I could also manage in my double breasted pea coat, again one size larger than my regular size.
I got long sleeved mat shirts from Target. I also just got regular sized (not mat ones) from Target that were long enough and worked with my bump.
