says "DO NOT CONSUME RAW COOKIE DOUGH" on it? Are they really serious??? (I know, I know salmonella, waah waah waah.) Who can resist that?
I may or may not have bought some to make with DS this past weekend and it may or may not be almost gone. And we haven't baked any of them. And no one else has eaten any.

Cookies are just better raw!!!
Eh, I figure it's a good insurance policy.
If the raw dough does happen to be the catalyst that sends me six feet under, then I figure DH can sue toll house, get an awesome settlement, and live out the rest of his days on a beach somewhere.
If the raw dough doesn't off me, then I am probably half asleep on the couch after a sugar induced high with a big sloppy grin on my face.

Hehe, sounds like something I would do.
The risk of salmonella contamination is something like 0.0113%, so I wouldn't worry about it. I would guess that the risk of cutting yourself with the knife you are using to cut the dough is probably greater. They just have to put a warning on the packaging because of liability.
mmmMMMmmm raw cookie dough.
DH has a thing for baking cookies after dinner every night. he only bakes like 2-3 at a time, which baffles me. i've never seen anyone do this. just make the whole thing! but it keeps him from eating too many. however, he doesn't like to find when i have eaten a bunch of his raw cookies from the fridge....oops. YUM!
mmm cookie dough is so good!
How can you not like it!!

BFP# 2 Delivered 6wks early due to preeclampsia
I've eaten it raw many many times before, and I'm still standing!
When I'm seriously depressed I may buy packs of cookie dough to freeze and have as a treat.
Raw cookie dough is so much better than real cookies in my opinion.
And see, that's why I just eat it with a spoon...
I rarely cook pre-made cookie dough. DH makes fun of me too as I love to make up chocolate chip cookie dough from scratch and then eat it raw. He did tell me that he will try to find me pasteurized eggs so I can do that when I'm pregnant again. I really struggled when I baked while pregnant as I always eat dough!
We love and miss you Jillian (18w) and Peanut (6w). Welcome to our TAC miracle Jacob!
