Doctors + Hospitals

Hi Everyone,

 I am new to the board, newly pregnant, and also in the process of relocating to Fort Lauderdale.  I am not yet familiar with the area.  And I was hoping that someone could recommend a good OB and also tell me what are the best hospitals to deliver at?

    I delivered at Mercy in Miami/Coconut Grove so that doesn't help you much, but congratulations on your pregnancy!

    COngrats and H&H 9 months to you.

    My doctors name is Todd Goldberg he is in Memorial West and i also delivered there i love him and all the nurses in the Hospital they were so nice and very helpful.

    Thank you for your responses and good wishes.  I am also considering Holy Cross and the Boca hospitals.  Does anyone have any experience with these hospitals and their doctors?

    Many of us have delivered at Boca Raton Community hospital. I delivered all three of my kids and had terrific experiences. Also, a lot of girls go to same practice (which i think must be one of the biggest ones around). Women's Healthcare Partners (www.whamd.com). I have been seeing one of their midwives for the past 6 years, her name is Rachel Devaney. But I have met almost all the drs in the office and think they are all terrific.
