Am I the only one who doesn't POAS early?

I envy all of you women who POAS religiously from 10 dpo (or earlier). I don't know why, but I can't do it. The 3 times I've been pg in the past, I never got a + test before a late AF. The times I did POAS at what I thought was 10 dpo or whatever, I always got a BFN and then AF would immediately show up.

So I have mental problems with what I think will/wont "jinx" me. Another example: with my 2 dd's I got my bfp w/the Clear Blue Easy digital 2 days after AF was due. With my m/c, I think it was a First Response digital.. Now I think that's what jinxed it (I KNOW this is not true, but like I said.. mental problems)

Also, with my dd's I had a blood test to confirm I was pg. With my m/c, they said a + hpt was all that was needed. If I ever get KU again, I'm demanding they take blood, and I'll only use a CBE digital....

I never POAS early either. For DD I had a blood test only, and for DS who passed, I was 3 days late before I POAS.

I started now because I get so worked up with symptoms that if it is a BFN I can get MF out of my head and go on with life. But I am not obsessive and we'll see how I feel this month, I may wait. Even if I do I probably will wait until 12 dpo.

screw it.. I'm going to go buy tests and start poas also. Except I think AF is coming tonight. Damn.

I try to wait until AF is due. But sometimes I cheat and if there are two tests in a pack i usually waste one by testing too early.

I would love to hold off until 12DPO. But then I say to myself that 10DPO is good enough... and then i end up POAS at 8DPO! LOL I have a problem.

I try to wait unless there's a reason not to. Lie a wedding where I'd drink if I got a BFN, or a dr. appt. where I'd have them blood test. I find feeling AF cramps as a warning before AF is a lot easier to face than the BFNs. Apparently I make #2 that doesn't do it.

I used to be really really good and wait until I was 5 days late. Then I bought internet cheapies and now I start testing around 10 dpo. It makes it alot easier to justify when each test is only about 25 cents.

I also wanted to add I've had two c/p. And since I've had every test under the sun, I don't need to have another loss to qualify for any sort of RPL, I already am aware of my suckiness. So I'd rather not know if I am having another c/p. It would just make this whole process harder and make my siggie even longer.

I used to be good about waiting until AF was due. My BFP cycle, I got a +HPT at 9 DPO. After that, I can't wait and I start testing at 9 DPO.

With DD I halfheartedly charted and tested on a whim at 13DPO and got a BFP. With my 2nd pregnancy I was charting religiously and tested at what FF told me was 7DPO but I learned was actually 10DPO and got a BFP. I've become really obsessive this time around and I've been testing for the past three days. I ran out of ICs and so I just bought two Answers HPTs. I've told myself I'm going to wait another 2-3 days to test again but I know that won't last.

I'm very superstitious so I really don't think I will poas until one day after AF should arrive. With my first pregnancy I wanted to test, but I didnt want to jinx myself, so i held off. But i thought about testing EVERYDAY ALL DAY!!

No. I never POAS early, and I never advocate for anyone else too either. The POAS hysteria sometimes makes me want to brain people.

I have only taken 1 pg test in my life, on the first day of my missed period.

However, I will say that with my diagnosis of a molar pregnancy, I bet I would have been able to get an earlier read because my HCG levels were so high (symptom of molar)

You?re not the only one! I prefer to wait until AF is due or late, because I hate to be disappointed when I see a BFN.

I never test early, even though I may really really want to. I'd rather have suspense and then disappointment rather than supense, disappointment, suspense, disappointment, suspense and then finally AF showing up and ending up all kinds of pissed off.

don't envy anyone sista. i have no self control and poas or piac at like 7-8 dpo. i have some shame considering i got my 1st bfp 4 days after missed af. i just have zero self control because i can't stop hoping and wishing. i need to relax and wait. self control self controlllllllllllllll!!!!
