FFS I feel like all I do is complain...

about the gas pain from the 2000mg of Met I'm taking (wtf, why am I taking double what everyone else does!) and now hot flashes and nausea!! Do we think it's from the endometrin?

On another note -  I went to see my cousin who delivered a beautiful baby girl Addison Nicole 6lbs 14oz and 19.75inches.  She is absolutely gorgeous and perfect.  Delivered 2 weeks early, cute little peanut...

I didnt get upset at all.   Not even jealous really, just happy!  I held her and talked about everything from pg---->delivery---->my own IF issues w/my cousin and I didn't get sad once, not even when I was alone on the way home! I'm proud of me. 
She also didn't say anything douch-y (and she had several opportunities-like when she said it was "quite the experience" and I said one I can't wait to have...She could have said "oh you don't want to," or something FH-ish but she didn't.  It was like she knew not to say stupid insensitive sh!t that we complain about all the time!! I love her!! And her new beautiful baby girl!

    Still have gas pain eh?! I'm sorry! I wish I had advice to offer...But alas I do not...

    I am glad you were able to go to see the new baby and that it didn't upset you at all....I am so proud of how strong you are! Girl you impress me!

    First- sorry about the side effects, all kinds of no fun. Hopefully it'll be worth it shortly. Also, that's GREAT about your cousin's baby, your cousin's ability to not need an 'insensitive' stamp, and you being able to actually enjoy all of that. I'm so happy for you!

    But good for you with your cousin. I'm so proud of you!  I have not been so good about that, I really should though. I hate being such a downer.

    Oh hon, I'm sorry your belly isn't behaving!  Endometrin side effects include constipation so that might be fighting with the Met for extra fun.  My old OB wanted me on 2500 mg/day of met and I told him HE could take that much and crap his life away.   I couldn't tolerate 2000 at all.  Since I am Oing at a decent time even without Clomid my new OB is happy with the 1500 I can tolerate. The hot flashes might be from the met.  I got them the first few months on it.  My old OB dismissed it as me being crazy, but he's a jerk.  In my mind it had to do with my hormones evening out.  They've chilled way out now. 

    I'm so proud of you for handling the new baby well.  I can only hope to be that strong in a few weeks.  You need to tell that new mama what a beautiful heart she has for not saying jerky things.  Maybe she'll pass it along Smile

    I had to take 2000mg until the nausea came and made me really sick so I went back down to 1000mg for 2 weeks then 1500mg for 2 weeks and finally 2000mg again. I thought I could take 2000 right away I was wrong I was so sick I could not get out of bed. Did you gradually go to 2000mg or right away?

    And YAY for new baby girl! a friend of mine gave birth last week I thought I was going to feel jealous and stuff I was a little sad but mostly happy for her.

    Well I took 1000/day for a week and had no side effects.  Then I upped to 2000 and all hell broke loose.  I'm still learning my "triggers" and I have to stop and buy gas X chewables
