BCP side effects

So I am on BCPs for the first time in my life, just started them Saturday night.  I am taking them for 21 days as the start of my IVF protocal.  Has anyone experienced mood swings on these things???  I have been in a really "crazy" mood for the last couple days......one second Im so aggravated Im ready to start screaming and then in the next instant I am ready to cry.....maybe it's the pills or maybe I've finally flown over the cookoo nest??

    That's a pretty normal side effect of them for me.  Dh hates it when I go on BCP.

    It's been a really long time since I've been on them, but before we found the right one I was a right royal turd on them, so I think that's a pretty valid side effect of some BCPs.

    You're probably not going crazy.

    that's funny, I actually find my swings are mellowed no bcp. but I know a lot of people that it's the opposite.
    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    Oh, yea, definitely normal side effects. I'm a maniac on them so I always needed to go on the low dose ones for me to be semi-normal. So, you'll do the IVF next month??? I'm praying for you!

    I think it might have something to do with the change more than actual BCP? Because I was psycho when i came OFF bcp. And when I went on it. After a few weeks of being off/on i mellowed out again

    Well Im only on them for 21 days so it sounds like by the time I get used to them I will be getting off of them, however, in the mean time I start Lupron injections next saturday night...........really has me concerned as to how I will be.......I am aware of how ridiculous Im being so Im going to have to try and gain some control for the next few weeks!  Thanks ladies!

    Thank you for your prayers!!!  Looks like if everything goes accordingly the ER and ET will be sometime during the week of November 10th!
