My doctor thinks I have it and I have gone in for bloodwork, a 24 hour urine analysis...and go this week for an u/s. I was wondering if someone could give me personal experience. I have read a lot online. Thanks.
I also have it. I have the typical symptoms... overweight, excess hair on my chin and belly, VERY long cycles without the help of meds, I don't ovulate on my own very often. Like PP I am not insulin resistant but I take Metformin due to the PCOS.

Re: PCOS
I have PCOS.
It seems like everyone that has it has diffrent symptoms of it.
I do have weight around the middle of my body, and I get alot of cysts. Also my body (before my loss) didn't ovulate.
I'm not insulin resistant, but needed IF meds to concieve.
Thanks Autumn! I am hoping I don't really have it - but the doctor thought I might....
Sorry to hear you do. I hope you have your time home baby soon!
It's ok I have learned to live with it. I was DX in 2007.
PCOS is not the end of the world, some people like I said have very mild you would never know cases.
Don't let it worry you until you get the news. ((HUGS))
