flumist and a 2 year old

I scheduled DS's flu vaccine for next week and he also has to get a vaccine to catch us back up to the schedule.  I have to talk to the nurse at the appt to see if Caleb is even allowed to do flumist secondary to all his respiratory issues last winter.  I'm just wondering who has done the spray with their 2 year old....how difficult is it going to be to get him to cooperate?  I'm thinking of just requesting the shot since he has to get another shot anyway.

    Maggie did it. I held her in my lap and it was over before she knew it. She kind of sputtered a sec and looked confused, but no crying.

    We did it when Justin was two last year and again this year when he had just turned 3.  They do it FAST, but I will say that last year it took both DH and I to hold him down for the second nostril after he figured out what they did with the first one.  It was a battle.

    This year wasn't quite that bad, I was by myself when he got the vaccine.  He didn't like it but he didn't struggle like he did last year.
