why does she hate covers? napr

in Attachment Parenting

for the longest time, sprout didn't have blankets around her while sleeping. we take our safe cosleeping extremely seriously and she wore sleepsacks in her crib. now, she seems to hate covers. she rolls around and kicks like a crocodile death roll until she gets them off.

it is starting to get really cool in the house. how do i get her to love covers before winter?

    Ari kicks his off a good bit too, & he hated sleep sacks. Maybe try really warm pjs & socks? You CD right? Maybe wool footie longies? Wooly Bottoms has some really cute ones.

    Gavin does the same thing and it drives me crazy! Sometimes I sneak the covers on him once he does to sleep.

    Try a really heavy blanket that is harder for her to toss off.  It's probably falling off when she rolls aroung.  Like a warm quilt. Though she might not be cold, my Little brother prefers to sleep with a sheet and will remove all of his pajamas even in the dead of winter.  (he's 9)

    Hahaha.  Anyway, no help here.  DS1 wouldn't really use covers until he was put into a queen size bed at 3.5 (and the covers were pretty tough to get out of) and he still sometimes gets them off.  DS2 does the "crocodile death roll" unless I am holding him and then he seems fine... except he loves to cover up with wraps and snuggle up with them to his face.

    i'm cold all the time, so maybe i'm assuming she's cold when it's just me...

    the woolies are a good idea. we mostly use pockets at night, but woolies couldn't hurt :)
