Newbie: Just need to vent

So, we have been TTC for a year and a half now and we got bad news from the doctor. Apparently, I have PCOS and she was saying it will be really hard to get pg. I am just really depressed about all of this. My SIL didn't even try to get pg and actually had two oopses and it just makes me sad. I just wanted something in my life to be easy. AARGH! Thanks for listening to a newbie.

    I'm sorry you are having a tough time.  Your doctor doesn't sound very helpful, IMO.  There are a number of girls here (and on SAIF) who are dealing with their PCOS diagnosis.  You may want to ask some more specific questions tomorrow, perhaps during the day.

    If you aren't seeing an RE yet, I'd head in that direction.  S/he is specially trained to deal with situations like yours.  Don't give up hope!

    It is really hard to see others who have zero problem getting knocked up. I'm really struggling with that right now.  I hate how it makes me feel!

    I also have PCOS and it is hard to see everyone around you get pregnant so quickly. I like thebump/thenest because you read of many women struggling to conceive. It makes you realize you are not alone. Good luck to you!

    I know how you feel.. I am in the some boat as you but its my little sister. She is prego and is not really that happy about it. It makes me SO upset. I just found out the I have PCOS to.. But it  will work out for us. Just keep your head up. ;)
