  If you want to look into nannies I highly recommend care.com - it's the web site we found our nanny through. But, a nanny is going to be more than daycare. Most nannies that I interviewed were between $10 and $15 an hour.

  Daycares for my two infants were running just under $400 a week. I don't know what it would have been for an infant and a toddler. Home daycares were basically the same.

  I agree with PP, but also check out sittercity.com; that's where we've found our sitter (and I may need a nanny when DH deploys again because my work hours are longer than daycares are open). As for daycare, I just google mapped, called, and drove around. It was trial and error. And just about all of them have wait lists for infants (I'm in the USAA/med center area). The prices ranged from $140-$195 for an infant, and the prices go down with age :-) Be sure to also check your daycare possibles on www.dfps.state.TX.us for all their reports. Good Luck!

  thanks yall! I have been putting this off....but now i have interviews next week! i really didn't think it would happen so quickly....and frankly im in denial about it all. I dont want someone else having fun with my boys all day!

  We LOVE Concordia over at 1604/Huebner!  Sarah and Tonya&Cody's LO Reese are in the same class there.  Weekly tuition is $203 (may be less for over 2yo).

  Downside is there is a long waiting list... they have a VERY low turnover rate, so most of the openings are from kids moving up and/or graduating to elementary school.  The wait for me to get Sarah in there as an infant was 4 months, and I had to put Jake on the list when I was 4 months pregnant for him to start next week.  It might be a little quicker for the toddler classes.

  we dont live near each other so I can really recommend my daycare.

  however, please let me know if you need anything! I'm sorry you have to go back to work. Been there and now doing that. It DOES get easier!

  I'm off on tues/thurs mornings if you need a sitter while you interview or anything to get ready!
