I have no idea when I ovulated.. if I even ovulated. but today is 15 days since we had unprotected sex the first time after AF. I could technically test today and it be positive if I ovulated early.

My original plan was to test on Saturday. What would you do? Test today or wait til Saturday?

15 days from having unprotected sex really doesn't mean anything, if it was 15 days from O then yes, you could technically test now. That is based on a 30ish day cycle though. It all depends on when you got AF, when you ovulated, etc. It has nothing to do with when you had sex. I have 35 day cycles, so I know that I ovulate like day 22 or 22. You really should read TCOYF so you don't drive yourself crazy and waste money on tests!! There is no harm in testing, just don't get disappointed if it is BFN because you may be too early.

I don't know when I O'd or if I even do. A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with Annovulation. but I know that could change monthly, I actually got pregnant since then that ended in a CP. Plus this was the first AF that I have had unmedicated in over a year. Before my AF went all wonky on me when I started birth control a couple years back, my cycle was between 30-33 days. I hope it goes back to that soon.

Wow, that is crazy, I hope it gets back to normal. I am currently on day 42 (technically 7 days late) and I did ovulate, but I haven't tested yet because my period has been super late once before and even though it is usually 35 days, I don't trust my body and I don't want to spend the money!

Definitely read TCOYF. It will help you know and look for signs of ovulation and teach you about charting. Wait as long as possible to test. I had a BFP that didn't show up until I was 4 days past AF--and I had a very consistent cycle. Good luck!

I agree with PPs that you should read TCOYF and also use fertilityfriend dot com to help you. Read the tutorials on that site as well and you will be well educated on the matters of fertility. GL!!

Am I beating a dead horse?? I also recommend you read TCOYF. It was so reassuring to know what my body was up to - and feel confident about it. Prior to that, I wasted money on tests regularly. Once off the pill, my periods weren't regular, but after reading the book, knew I didn't need to test unnecessarily (and even better - knew when I had a chance and should test.)

I'm sure you know about them, but you can get tests at the Dollar Tree. The way I see it is that for a dollar, I'd test every day if it would make me feel better. :-)
