Good morning... quick question...is the B6 that's in the PNV enough to lengthen your LP without taking extra B6? I'm just curious because I started taking PNV a few months ago with we started TTC, and last cycle my cycle was longer than usual (it was like 34 days instead of 29). And this cycle I'm on CD 18 and still haven't O'ed yet. So my question is: could the B6 in the PNV be extending my cycles without taking any extra B6? I started temping this cycle so I have a better idea of what my body is doing...but just looking to see if this has happened to others. Thanks!!
Re: Prenatal Vitamins and B6
Yeah, I understand..every time you think you've got your body all figured out, it will throw you for a loop to keep you on your toes!! Hope your day goes well also
This I take a PNV and a B6 pill-but I was warned you have to be very careful & check how much B6 your PNV has before selecting a B6 supplement. I haven't had a lot of luck with it increasing my LP-so I guess it depends on how your body reacts to the B6 (if it works or not). My dr is a skeptic on this one. Sorry.
All the bolded stuff above, plus I read somewhere recently that whether B6 will lengthen your LP depends on what the reason is for it being short.
So far it seems to have given me an extra day, but I also had 7DPO b/w today to see if I have a progesterone deficiency.
