TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Teen Mom/ Amber Saga continues

You know how they have the "teen pregnancy is 100% preventable" ad during the episodes?

They have now added:

"If you or someone you know has been a victim of domestic violence.."

which is played after every scene featuring Amber. I wonder why they don't boot her off the show? She is just awful. I think she'll end up in jail over this.

  • I saw that last week. It pissed me off because it means that MTV obviously thought what she was doing was domestic violence, but they didn't do anything about it. Funny because I know on the Real World or Road Rules if you hit someone I think you are automatically kicked off the show. MTV FAIL.

I completely see your point.  Its terrible that they'll display this behavior on Teen Mom, but they won't tolerate it on shows like RR/RW, where the participants are grown adults.

The difference is this show is a "documentary" and follows their real life, not forced situations. The staff are given strictest instructions NOT to interfere, as much as they may want to, because they would change the outcome of situations. It's hard on them to watch too, but if you think of shows like intervention or any doc that features real people, they have to show the good with the bad.
