FML (cysts mentioned)

in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+
I went for my day 3 appt. today and found out I have two big ole cysts - 4cm on the right and 3cm on the left.  I hate Clomid.  So obviously we can't do the femara this cycle.  I am so bummed.  Does anyone have experience with cysts?  Do they always resolve themselves in one cycle?  Did I mention how much I hate Clomid?

    Did he say anything about coming back in a day or 2 to see if they've cleared? I had it happen when I went for my cd 3 and had a HUGE cyst but by CD 5 it had cleared up enough to start my injectables. And I HATE clomid too!

    I'm sorry. It REALLY stinks! My cyst did resolve itself so go have some wine and try to relax- that's what I'm doing.

    I'm sorry Jen.  Totally sucks.  Did they say it should go away on its own?  I have heard of people taking BCP's for cysts I think, but not sure why.

    I asked my mom and she said sometimes they resolve on their own and just go away..I have heard of BCP also but we aren't doing anything except trying on our own this month

    I'm sorry.  Hopefully it goes away quickly for you.  I think I had one last time I went for my u/s and I'm praying it's gone next time I go back.

    I'm so sorry about the cysts.  :(  Please keep us posted...if you need me to, I'll dig up my cyst-busting pic.  ;)  Hope they go away ASAP.

    I'm sorry hun. My cysts with clomid were always 24MM or higher. And I was put on BCP for 30 days to shrink them.

    I had several cysts before we started TTC and my OB would always give a stronger BCP. I guess the hormones in it are supposed to shrink the cyst. I'm sorry, I hope it resolves soon. Now I'm afraid to take my Clomid this month.

    ((((hugs)))  Im sorry it's so frustrating to get this news!   A couple positives is that it's possible they can dissolve with your next cycle and/or they could shrink enough that they won't interfere with ovulation.

    BCP got rid of mine right away.  I went back two weeks later both times and they were gone.  Those fertility drugs did that to me too.  I'm so sorry, it's really aggravating!
