TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

One more thing...(estradiol mentioned)

In addition to the news of the cysts, my OB also told me that last month my E2 levels were elevated.  She said it was at 90, and she likes to see it around 50.  She wouldn't tell me what this means, but when I google it, all this stuff about egg quality comes up.  Now I'm freaking myself out.  Does anyone have experience with this?

Also, I'm starting to think maybe I should be seeing an RE.  How do I know when it's time?

  • Is there any chance you had a cyst then? When I had a cyst at the begining of my cycle my E2 was 146

No, don't think so.  She did an ultrasound that same day and said I didn't have any cysts.  That was before I had taken any meds.

  • When doing my E2 levels they were always in the 30's. And the days they were higher is when I had cysts.

I would ask your doctor they might be able to explain it more to you.

That's the problem.  When I asked her, she said I was over analyzing everything too much and that I was stressing myself out.  But I think I'm more stressed out not knowing what anything means because I sit here and google things for hours on end.

  • I love how they play the "stressing yourself out" card, UGH!!   There is nothing wrong with being completely informed.  It's your body.   I would ask her to explain it to you so that you have an understanding of what it means and then maybe there wouldn't be any confusion and you'd feel more comfortable.  If she explained it enough then maybe you wouldn't have to resort to google.....I'd tell her that one!  GL!!
