Anniversary Help

We've got two fun-filled nights in two weeks away from DS and to celebrate our 5 yr. anniversary.  We're planning on leaving Dayton Friday night and driving to Lexington to stay overnight and attend the UK game Saturday afternoon, but from then on we're at a loss of what to do so....

Where should we stay around UK Friday night?

We'd like to stay around Cincy Saturday night, where to stay? eat? and what to do?

    Our wedding reception was at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, very close to UK. It is a beautiful hotel/resort. When I travel for work, we stay at the Hilton Downtown which is across the street from Rupp Arena. It's real nice and in walking distance from a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. The World Equestrian Games are going on down there right now, so keep that in mind, crowd wise.

    I don't know anything about Lexington but in Cincinnati I would pick Palomino's.  It over looks Fountain Square which is fun and good for people watching.

    Griffin Gate in Lexington is definitely nice.  There aren't any hotels within walking distance to Commonwealth Stadium (at least I don't think so), but the Hilton downtown is nice, too.  I love Lexington!  Have fun!
