which swing is better?

I'm trying to decide between the little lamb swing and the ocean wonders swing.  They are similar in cost, the ocean wonders swing looks a little more interactive but the little lamb seems more comfy.  My DD loved her ocean wonders chair so I'm leaning towards that.

Does anyone have either of these that could recommend pros and cons?

  • I love love love our ocean wonders swing. He still takes naps in it!

  • I think the Ocean Wonders one has a plug-in adapter and the Little Lamb does not.  I really wanted the Little Lamb, but went with the Precious Planet b/c of the plug-in feature.
  • DS and I love the little lamb swing!  We use it a lot and haven't gone through too many batteries but if you're concerned about that the ocean wonders swing can plug in instead.

  • We have and LOVE the Little Lamb swing. It is so plush and comfy for our DD. During her "crazy lady colic" nights, she would sleep the entire  night in her swing. Do not let the fact that it is battery operated deter you. We run the thing constantly...and I mean constantly (6+ hours a day) and in 2 months have not had to replace the batteries and it is not even slowing down. Also, it is nice to be able to have her in the center of the room without a cord running to her swing.

AND when the power went out a few nights ago due to a storm....the battery operated swing just kept right on-a-goin...

  • DD loved her little lamb swing and used it multiple times a day for 10 months.  We only had to change the batteries once.  But we also only used the toy tray once...

  • I went with Ocean wonders because of the AC plug in.  A mom who had the older version of the ocean wonders without the plug in recommended it.  it has been great.  I think the colorful mobile is more attention grabbing and my son was into pretty early on.  I love the aesthetics of my little lamb but given how bored my son was with his bright starts bouncer, the neutral colored pastel stuff just didn't do it for him.

  • DD loved her little lamb swing.  It was so cozy, plus it swings 2 different ways.  There were definately times in the first few months that she wouldn't sleep anywhere else.
