Yeah, it is pretty comfortable... I just find it more comfortable to be on the balls of my feet vs. flat-footed, haha. Your cats sound just like ours... except we only have one!

Try spreading your legs further apart. I can do it pretty low, but I've been practicing for the last 16 weeks. I can get my heels down easily now if my legs are far enough apart.
I will try to practice more... I didn't do much squatting with my last pregnancy and all of a sudden I had a huge belly in my way, heh.
