I really like to make it out, but I find myself staying home a lot to avoid my LO having a meltdown in the car or during the errand. I do go for walks though.
I am in the same boat. I try, because it breaks the day up, but its hard to find time. My LO has to be home for her naps otherwise her schedule gets messed up and she is miserable! It's hard to find the time to make it out and back without her falling asleep in the car!
I also try to take her on walks everyday..it seems to really relax her.
I leave just about everyday-I think DS likes it too. He does really well when we're out, I think he likes all the things to look at. Normally when he has a meltdown in public it's always food or diaper related and he stops crying as soon as that's taken care of. I would go out if I were you! Don't make yourself go crazy staying in the house (at least I do!)
Not everyday but I try, even if its just for a quick errand. We do go walking outside everyday, well except when we have freezing rainy days like today.
I'm still on maternity leave, so I'll consider myself a SAHM! I try to get my little guy out for some fresh air daily and run errands whenever necessary.
i try an go out every day. we go for a walk every morning, so i try to go out again sometime in the afternoon. I hate being cooped up in the house all day! This summer was bad, though, because it was SO hot. We had to stay inside because i didnt want to take DS out in the heat since he was so little. So now that it has cooled down a lot, we try to go on outings. PP is right! DO NOT make yourself go crazy. Even if it is just sitting outside for a little bit, GET OUTSIDE!
Yep, but it's pretty hard not to with another kid who has classes, etc. If I don't get out to a store, playdate, class, etc. I tend to go crazy. The only big trouble is that DD isn't on a great nap schedule because of it (particularly in the AM), so she's becoming a bad sleeper. It's much easier to stick to a schedule when there is only 1 kid.

I try to get LO outside as much as possible whether its for a walk or taking her to the pool..Luckily where we stay there is a gym too so I can take her with me and that helps! Anything to get her and I some change of scenery I'm game for, especially because it helps us{and by that I mean me} to not go crazy! lol
Still on mat leave, so I'll say SAHM applies. I get out of the house 9 out of 10 days, I'd say. Even if it's just a long walk with the dog or a trip to the grocery store. I don't think any good will come of me isolating myself with the baby's schedule. I just try to feed her and change her before we leave, since I am EBF and don't like doing it in public, much. It also helps that she loves napping in her car seat. I start to get kind of depressed if I don't get out and have some human contact every couple of days.
We go for a walk in the morning and evening (thank you Dallas weather for cooling off!). And, we usually will run errands or visit friends for an hour or so each day. Tomorrow we are going to the Arboretum, and I can't wait!
We go for a walk every single morning so myself and the dog get some excercise and DD gets some fresh air. And we are probably out of the house running errands or meeting with friends about 2 - 4 days during the week. During the weekend we have one hang at home day and one "family" day. The first 6 weeks of DD's life I didn't really leave the house and I was going insane!

I work from home half a day. DH and I have one family car and a crappy pickup truck. DH has a terrible commute so I try to let him have the good car as much as possible (especially on Fridays when traffic is the worst). I will take the good car 2-3 days a week for grocery shopping, Targeting, driving into work, meeting up with friends, ect. We live in a really great area where I can walk to restaurants, shops, the library, and many parks. It does suck to be stuck inside without a car some days. Other days it is fun to stay home and bake or work in the yard.
Not to hijack the thread, but if you go out where do you go?

I try to everyday, even if it's to just walk around target or something, however that is usually bad for my wallet :oP I take her to visit my grandma, get together with friends for lunches, run to the store/s, visit my mom at work and eat lunch with her, etc. i would go crazy staying at home too much. I am very lucky however she's usually very good out in public and loves the car/her carseat.

This exactly. It makes me feel terrible if I don't get out at least for a little while.
Yep, we go somewhere every day. LO seems to like getting out and about and she usually will fall asleep in her carseat. The only thing she doesn't like is going out for lunch, for some unknown reason. I tried taking her twice and both times she screamed her head off.
We go to the mall, Target, Kohl's, the park (there's a paved walkway for strollering), my inlaws so they can see the baby, the grocery store, and visit friends.
