Hospital bag ?

Um, I know I'm over thinking this ...

What was your actual hospital bag? Forget what goes in it, I can't even get that far, LOL! What kind of "bag" did you use? A small suitcase on wheels? A duffle bag?

TIA!

  • We used a small suitcase on wheels

  • I think we used my big backpack- like one for backpacking through Europe.  We didn't need nearly that much crap though!  If we have another, I think we'll bring a small backpack- like the kind that a kid brings to school.  I also brought Kate's diaper bag.  That was actually nice, because it kept her stuff separate from the labor stuff.

  • DD and I shared a duffle bag. DH used a regular backpack for his stuff.
  • I used a Land's End tote bag.  And I crammed stuff into the diaper bag as well.  I WAY overpacked.  I basically only needed my nursing bra and some going-home clothes since I stayed in the hospital gown while I was there.  It was easier to BF with the gown on.  :)

  • I used a backpack.  I didn't bring much, just a change of clothes and a toothbrush.  DH didn't bring anything, we were only 20 minutes from the hospital so he went home to shower and change.

  • my hospital bag was a target bag!  yup. we went into labor 2 months early so we never even packed a bag. didnt even have nightgowns or shampoo. dh had to make a run to the store since we gave birth in austin and live in kyle. i had a very cute tote i wanted to use too.
  • I took a small rolling suitcase.  Think carry on size.  I needed to pack stuff for me, DS and DH.
